It all started on October 3rd, 2020, when my sister called and asked me to come help set up the karaoke machine at my house. I had no idea that “helping out” would lead to meeting her. The second I saw her, I swear my confidence packed its bags and left — she was way too bright, too sophisticated, and way out of my league. Somehow, though, she made me feel completely at ease and even managed to pull my real personality out of hiding.

Later that night, we were hanging out in the jacuzzi, deep in conversation, when she decided to sit up on the edge... and instead made a perfect backward dive into the pool. That was the moment I realized two things: one, she was hilarious even without trying, and two, I was in serious trouble — because I was already hooked.
